There have been many rumors pertaining to high-performance Canon EOS M models being released in 2020. These included a potential successor to the highly successful EOS M50 and the M5. The suspected model nomenclature included the Canon EOS M5 MII and even EOS M7.
Now we have a potential list of features arriving from the deep innards of the web.
- DPAF II
- New DIGIC Processor (perhaps a lesser version of DIGIC X?)
- Dual SD Cards
- Full sensor width 4K up to 60p
- 1080p at 120p
Seems like quite a heave hitter and squarely targetted at taking on the Fujifilm X-T4 and the Sony A6000 series of APS-C cameras. Time will tell how the final product turns out but looking at the current Canon operating style, they just may do it.
