A new Canon camera using the LP-E17 battery has shown up at the Indonesian Wireless Certification Agency. This same model had previously shown up at the Russian Wireless Certification agency also. Details below,
The LP-E17 is the same battery being used in Canon’s entry and mid-level cameras. There are rumors of a Canon EOS M50 successor (Either the Canon EOS M60 or the EOS M50 II) being released in the latter half of 2020. On top of that, we have a patent for an IBIS system for a smaller device and chances are we could also be seeing a pro body in the EOS M line up very soon. As we had reported earlier, this could be targeted towards the more capable Sony and Fujifilm APS-C bodies.
